 Formalities
:
- Valid passport and visa (for the citizens of the countries-members
UDEAC visa is not required). Visa is necessary, passport is
necessary.
- time : CUT+ 1 houre
- Flying time : flights Air Afrique and France leaving
from France: between 8 to 9 hours subject to the routes (direct
or with stopovers).
- just an Advice : Leave a photocopy of your passport
in the consulate.
Health :
Medical certificate on vaccination for yellow fever is compulsory.
Strongly suggested protection against typhoid, hepatitis A
and B, meningitis A +C, be up-to-date with all French vaccinations.
Tropical diseases :
Most tropical diseases are present in the Central African
Republic.
Concerning malaria the country belongs to class R3. Therefore
it is recommended to contact your center of tropical medicine
to take advice on appropriate chemical prophylaxis to be selected
according to the duration of your stay.
It is recommended to contract an insurance for assistance
before your departure.
Pasteur institute in Bangui (61 89 96) offers wide spectrum
of analysis under very good conditions.
